DMCA Takedown Requests

Updated 2026-07-10

Our policy

Music Games features original melody and artwork challenges. Any third-party game must have a recorded source, author, license or distribution permission, and status. We respond to valid copyright takedown notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to the agent below. We will review and, where the notice is valid, remove or disable access to the material, usually within 48 hours.

How to file a notice

Email your notice to dmca@musiccup.co with the following:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner (or the person authorized to act on their behalf).
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed (e.g. title, registration number if any).
  • The exact URL on this site where the material appears (copy the full address from your browser).
  • Your contact information — address, phone number, and a working email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with: your signature, identification of the material and its location before removal, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake, and your name, address, and phone number. We may reinstate the material if the original complainant does not file a court action within 10–14 business days.

Repeat infringers

We terminate access for users or sources that are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, as required by the DMCA.
